Book Release Party for Haunts and Horrors
Something that I had longed to do in the world of publishing is attend a book release party. However, I tend to not be cool enough to run in those circles of authors- until now!
Yes, complete with a cake with the cover of the new book on it, the third issue of the Cincinnati Cabinet of Curiosities, Haunts and Horrors, made its earthly debut at Indie Northern Kentucky Booksellers (iNK) in Dayton, Kentucky. It was hosted by iNK, Corpse Flower Press, and the Cincy + NKY Comics Club with an evening that included book signings, live comics readings, and art displays of the original comic pages.
This was an opportunity for all those who helped the book become reality could celebrate the achievement. It was fantastic meeting readers who came by to pick up copies and to see comic creators who had published with the anthology in earlier books. It was a fantastic night and one I will never forget.
